Abstract submission
    We invite you to submit papers and latest scientific contributions in the field of professionalism and interprofessional collaboration in primary health care, Integrated primary care, quality and safety of interprofessional work in primary care, planetary health and sustainability in primary care, interprofessional education and training with simulators and other new approaches. Masters and doctoral students and their mentors are also invited to the conference.

    The conference aims to address all professionals involved in primary health care (physicians, nurses, social workers, public health specialists, physiotherapists, dentists, administrators, psychologists, sociologists), as well as educators, key opinion leaders, informal caregivers, and patients.

    The conference will be free of pharmaceutical sponsors.

    Deadline 1 October 2023

    Abstract and Full Paper Submission Deadline

    • Extended abstracts submission deadline 28 August 2023.
    • Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be sent electronically to the corresponding author by 5 September 2023.
    • The deadline for submitting full papers is 1 October 2023
    • The deadline for submitting corrected final papers is 20 October 2023.

    Presentation Formats

    The Scientific Committee or appointed reviewers will ultimately decide whether a submitted paper is selected for an oral or a poster presentation. A considerable part of the invited talks will be selected based on scientific merit of submitted abstracts. Please make sure to indicate the preferred presentation type on the abstract submission website. The scheduled time for each oral presentation will be announced in the programme. With this in mind, speakers are requested to stay within the allotted time. While the names of five authors can be included on the title of the abstract, only one author may give the oral presentation.

    Method of Submission
    • All abstracts and, subsequently, full papers must be submitted only via the online form, which can be accessed after a submitter has created a new user account with an e-mail address and password.

    • Authors will have access to their abstracts until the deadline, and will have the possibility to edit abstracts with draft status, or submit new ones.
    • All correspondence concerning the abstract will be sent to the submitting author’s e-mail address.
    • Presenting author can submit up to 2 abstracts and subsequent full papers.

    Step 1: Abstract Submission

    • Authors are invited to submit abstracts on any of the provided themes.
    • The abstracts must be written in English.
    • The abstracts’ body/text should be structured into the 4 sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions. It is necessary to define the thematic area of the abstracts. 
    • The abstracts’ body may not exceed a maximum of 500 words. Tables and/or figures are not accepted as part of the abstract.
    • We accept research works or parts of research that have not yet been published or accepted for a publication elsewhere.
    • The abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Scientific Committee or appointed reviewers. 
    • The first authors will receive further instructions for preparing the full papers after their abstracts have been accepted. Please check the presenting author when you enter the author information online. The presenting author will be underlined in the program and serve as the contact for further correspondence with authors.
    • The presenting author must be registered within the pre-registration period. 
    Step 2: Full Paper Submission
    Authors of accepted abstracts must submit their final papers by 1 October 2023.

    All papers will be reviewed by the members of the Scientific committee or appointed reviewers.

      • Papers must be written in English.

      • A paper should be written strictly in accordance with the provided WORD template and submitted in the PDF format. If papers are accorded the 'Revise and Resubmit' status upon review, the authors will be invited to submit changes until 20 October 2023 or have their papers automatically rejected.
      • The paper body may be up to 5 pages long. Tables and/or figures are accepted. 

      Full papers submission on-line facility is available on the same platform as abstract submission for the authors from the time that their abstracts is accepted.
