Abstracts and Full Papers submission

    We invite you to submit papers and latest scientific contributions in the field of professionalism and interprofessional collaboration in primary health care, teamwork with a special emphasis on horizontal and vertical collaboration and transition of care, quality and safety in primary health care, simulations in education and training, long-term care in primary health care and the role of informal caregivers, the new challenges of person-centered care in interprofessional teams, and the structure of primary care and quality. Masters and doctoral students and their mentors are also invited to the conference.

    The conference aims to address all professionals involved in primary health care (physicians, nurses, social workers, public health specialists, physiotherapists, dentists, administrators, psychologists, sociologists), as well as educators, key opinion leaders, informal caregivers, and patients.
    The conference will be free of pharmaceutical sponsors.

    Abstract submission is open

    Submitting Abstracts and Full Papers
    • Authors are invited to submit abstracts and later Full Papers on any of the given themes.
    • All abstracts and Full Papers will be reviewed by the members of the Scientific committee or appointed reviewers.
    • Accepted Full Papers will be published in the conference programme with Full Papers distributed also to all conference participants.
    • The organisers will publish only the Papers submitted by authors, who will settle their registration fee by June 10, 2020.

    Abstract and Full Paper submission Deadline

    Number of published posters is limited.
    • The deadline for submitting abstracts is March 9, 2020.
    • Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be sent electronically to the corresponding author March 23, 2020.
    • The deadline for submitting full papers is May 4, 2020.
    • Notification of acceptance of full papers will be sent electronically to the corresponding author May 25, 2020.
    • The deadline for submitting final papers is June 8, 2020.
    • Early Registration & Active participants deadline June 10, 2020.

    Presentation Formats

    The Scientific Committee or appointed reviewers will ultimately decide whether a submitted abstract and later Full Paper will be selected for an oral or a poster presentation. A considerable part of the invited talks will be selected based on scientific merit of submitted abstracts. Please make sure to indicate the preferred presentation type on the abstract submission web site. The scheduled time for each oral presentation will be announced in programme. With this in mind speakers are requested to stay within the time given. While the names of five authors may be included on the title of the abstract and Papers, only one author will be allowed to give the oral presentation.

    Method of Abstract Submission
    • All abstracts must be submitted only via the online form that is accessible after to create the new user account with your e-mail address and password.
    • Authors will be notified about the delivery of their abstract by e-mail immediately.     • Authors will have access to their abstracts until the deadline and will have possibility to edit abstracts with draft status, or submit another one.
    • All correspondence concerning the abstract will be sent to submitting author’s e-mail address.

    Abstract Submission

    • The abstracts must be written in English.
    • The abstracts’ body/text should be structured into the 4 sections; Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions. It is necessary to define the thematic area of the abstracts. 
    • The abstracts’ body may be no more than a maximum of 500 words. Tables and/or figures are not accepted as part of the abstract.
    • We accept research works or parts of research that have not yet been published or accepted for a publication elsewhere.
    • The abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Scientific Committee or appointed reviewers. 
    • The first authors will receive further instructions for preparing the full papers after their abstracts had been accepted. Please check the presenting author when you enter the author information online. The presenting author will be underlined in the program and serve as the contact for further correspondence with authors.
    • The presenting author must be registered within the pre-registration period.
    Method of Full Paper Submission
    Authors of the accepted abstracts have time to submit their final Papers till May 4, 2020.

    Paper submissions may be up to five pages including figures, tables and references. Papers longer than five pages will be rejected. The paper should be written strictly in accordance with the provided WORD template and submitted in PDF format. 

    Full papers submission on-line facility will be available from March 23, 2020 on the same platform as abstract submission.
    Abstract Layout
    • The length of the abstracts should not be more than 300 words
    • Title: Make the title of the abstract brief, clearly indicating the nature of the investigation. Use a capital letter for the first letter in the title only (DO NOT capitalize each word).
    • Names of the authors: Submit the full given name(s) and the family name. Do not include degrees or professional titles.
    • Original studies should have uniform structure (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
    • Example of formatting: 
    - Background: Type the headings Background, - Methods, Results, Conclusions.
    - Methods: Do not write the headings on separate lines. Start the text of the paragraph immediately after the Colon (“:”) without pressing the “Enter” key.
    - Results: Example text. Example text.
    - Conclusion: Example text.

    • No references could be included.
    • Tables and/or figures are not accepted as part of the abstract.

    Poster guidelines

    Instructions for Poster Preparation

    • Posters must be brought to the Conference by the presenting author and should not be mailed in advance.
    • You are responsible for setup and take-down of your posters before and after the session.
    • At the top of poster, please provide the title of the paper, names of the authors and their affiliations, all in bold lettering of about 2.5 to 3 cm size. Artwork and lettering should be large and clear enough so that the poster is readable from a distance of 1.5 m.
    • Be at your poster during the poster session.
    • The required dimensions are shown in the bellow guideline.
