We are excited to announce the upcoming SCUBY colloquium. The SCUBY project aimed to develop a common integrated care package for hypertension and type 2 diabetes in low- and middle-income countries, with a focus on vulnerable populations. Over four years, the project was carried out in Cambodia, Slovenia, and Belgium, with key decision-makers at all levels involved in building the scale-up roadmaps and identifying opportunities and barriers.
As the project comes to an end in June 2023, we invite you to join us for the final dissemination opportunity - the SCUBY colloquium. This event will be a platform for discussion and collaboration towards improving integrated care for hypertension and type 2 diabetes in low- and middle-income countries. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the diverse lessons and common learnings from the project, as reflected in the scale-up roadmaps. Key stakeholders from each country and the global health community will discuss the project results and their implications for integrated care policies, healthcare organizations, and people with chronic diseases.
The SCUBY colloquium will be an invaluable occasion to engage with the latest research and best practices in integrated care for hypertension and type 2 diabetes. Join us to be a part of the conversation and help shape the future of integrated care for chronic diseases in low- and middle-income countries.
